Key groups who may need extra support include:

  • Anyone experiencing homelessness
  • Refugees and Asylum Seekers
  • Women who have had children removed from their care
  • Anyone living with physical or learning disabilities
  • Anyone whose spoken language is not English
  • Anyone who sells or exchanges sex
  • Women with active Health Visiting/Family Nurse Partnership/Social Work involvement
  • People experiencing mental health issues

Inclusion & Outreach Team Referral Pathway

Relationships and Sexual Health (R&SH) is a wide agenda. Some Vulnerable Adult Clients are best seen by a local pharmacist or GP. Some will need to see specialist sexual health clinicians. Others may need a resource to view to update their knowledge. R&SH work can also include building staff capacity within your organisation.

Following the referral pathway will ensure your clients receive the most appropriate support in a timely manner.

If your client does not fall into one of these groups or is able to make their own appointment they should be directed to www.sandyford.scot
