When a referral is needed to access Sandyford services

While patients can self-refer for most of our services, some require a referral from a healthcare professional.

  • Menopause and Gender Services: These require referral via SCI pathway.
  • Vasectomy and Genital Warts: These services accept self-referrals however patients can also request referral through their GP.
  • If patients need extra support: Sandyford Inclusion Team can provide support for people who require extra support to access our Sandyford Sexual Health Services. They can ensure patients receive an appropriate appointment at a clinic to support their needs.
