Sandyford is the specialist sexual health service for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Our vision is for everyone in Greater Glasgow and Clyde to enjoy good sexual health. When people need support, care, or treatment, they can easily access our specialist sexual health services.
We focus on preventing poor sexual health, early intervention, and helping people manage their sexual health independently.
Our key objectives to reach this vision are:
• To ensure people who need care, testing and treatment can easily access our services.
• To ensure the correct service is available at the correct time by offering a tiered model of service and intervention provision approach.
• To work in partnership to address inequalities in sexual health.

Sexual health is a key part of overall wellbeing impacting on emotional and physical health. We support people to make informed choices about their sexual health.

We offer a range of specialised services to help you have good sexual health. This includes STI testing, contraception, HIV prevention and abortion care.

Our service agreement with Argyll and Bute
We cover all of Greater Glasgow and Clyde, as well as providing some services to those living in Argyll and Bute due to a service agreement within the NHS.

Who you’ll meet
It takes a wide range of staff members to keep our services running, from reception and admin staff to nurses and doctors and everyone in between.

Associated services
You may notice some services have their own websites. This is because the Free Condoms Service, Archway Glasgow (service for sexual assault and rape) and Brownlee (service for those living with HIV) all run as NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde services, independent to Sandyford.
