Main entrance: This can be found on Sandyford Place and is signposted.

Getting here: Charing Cross train station (4 min walk), buses 2, 3, 77 nearby.
Plan your journey using Google Maps or Traveline.

Parking: Limited on-street parking is available near Sandyford Central, payable through the RingGo app or website.

There are also nearby car parks with accessible bays at Kelvingrove and Newton Street.

Services available
Facilities and accessibility

Reception is through the main entrance and down a small flight of stairs (or lift) to the right. The whole building has lift access. Toilet access is available on request.

We have no childcare facilities and as children often can’t be permitted into clinical areas, we ask that you please do not attend with children unless you have someone to wait with them in the waiting area.

Travel information

Main entrance: Is the main entrance to the health centre. We are located in the community wing on the ground floor.

Getting here: Clydebank train station (10 min walk), buses 1A, 2, 60. Plan your journey using Google Maps or Traveline.

Parking: The health centre has a large car park with free parking and disabled parking bays available.

Facilities and accessibility

Sandyford has its own reception staff at the main reception on the ground floor. Toilets are available across from the reception desk as well as in the clinical corridor.  Water dispenser available in the waiting area. 

We have no childcare facilities and as children are often are not permitted into clinical areas, we ask that you do not attend with children unless you have someone to wait with them in the waiting area.

Sandyford Govanhill

Travel information

Main entrance: Based in Govanhill Community Building, next to but separate from the Health Centre. The entrance has Sandyford signage and you enter via a clearly marked buzzer system.

Getting here: Queens Park train station (7 min walk), buses 6, 7, 75. Plan your journey using Google Maps or Traveline.

Reception is on the ground floor across from the entrance to the building. We have toilet facilities which are easily accessible. There is no water fountain but please ask a member of staff if you would like some and this can be provided.

Sandyford Gender Service

Travel information

Main entrance: The Gender Service is based at 93 Candleriggs, Merchant City. We are on the 4th floor, accessible by both stairs and lift. Sandyford signage is on the front and throughout the building.

Getting here: Glasgow Central or Glasgow Queen Street train station (are both approx. 15 min walk), a variety of buses stop near by. Plan your journey using Google Maps or Traveline.

Parking: There is no street parking outside the building. Nearby car parks that require payment are available. Details for car parking :  g1 1np car parking – Google Search

Facilities and accessibility

Reception is on the fourth floor, through the only door which is signposted. Press the buzzer to enter.

We have gender-neutral toilets and water fountains available.

We have no childcare facilities and as children are often are not permitted into clinical areas, we ask that you do not attend with children unless you have someone to wait with them in the waiting area.
