Sandyford staff continue to provide sexual health service into 2022

Despite the impact of the COVID pandemic, Sandyford staff have continued to provide a sexual health service for Greater Glasgow and Clyde throughout the early months of 2022.

Throughout January, Sandyford clinics had 8129 attendances and saw 5676 individuals. This included 377 patients who were brand new to the clinic. 2133 appointments were able to take place either by video call or telephone. 6394 incoming calls to our clinics were answered.

In February, Sandyford welcomed 7854 attendances and 5658 individuals to our clinics. 499 of these were brand new to Sandyford. 1704 appointments took place via a virtual method and 6435 incoming calls were answered by our staff, an increase from the previous month.

Although COVID regulations are changing throughout Scotland, physical distancing and face coverings are still required at health care settings.

Sandyford therefore have restricted services still in place including appointment only clinics, to continue to protect the public and staff. If you have signs of COVID, or have been in contact with someone in the last 10 days please do not book or come into Sandyford.
